Suurin syy miksi halusin juuri tämän Aoton oli saada Hillalle (Tick Tock Rabbit Himeno) kaveri,

sillä Hillahan kuuluu myös Liisa Ihmemaassa-teemaiseen sarjaan.

The biggest reason why I bought this Aoto is that now I've a friend for Hilla (Tick Tock

Rabbit Himeno), because Hilla is also Alice in Wonderland-themed.

Viime viikolla kerroin sepelkyyhkyn pesästä, joka sattuu olemaan sopivasti ikkunamme

edessä olevassa männyssä. Kyyhkysen poikaset (kyllä, niitä onkin kaksi!)

kehittyvät hyvää vauhtia ja iskä ja äiskä vaihtavat vahtivuoroja sujuvasti.

Last week I told about the wood pigeons' nest. Well, the chicks (yes, surprisingly there are two of them!) are growing fast and mama bird and papa bird are taking turns at the nest smoothly.

 Poikaset hyökkäävät heti kurkkuun kiinni, kun

ruokalastinsa kanssa saapuva vanhempi ilmestyy paikalle ^^;

The chicks are always so hungry that they immediately attack into

their parent's mouth when this arrives to the nest ^^;

Ruokateemalla vielä jatketaan... Nimittäin kissojen ja koirien ruokien valmistaja Almo Nature on tehnyt omasta mielestäni kivan lyhytelokuvan ihmisen ja koiran pitkästä yhteisestä historiasta.
Susi kesyyntyi aikoinaan koiraksi ja on pysynyt siitä lähtien uskollisena ystävänä rinnallamme, mutta millaisia ystäviä me ihmiset olemme olleet? Emme aina kovinkaan kummoisia...

has made a nice short film about the shared history of humans and dogs.
The wolf became tame domesticated dog once and has stayed our loyal friend ever since,
but what kind of a friend we have been? Not always the best one...
The movie gives a reminder of that.

Meillä sepelkyyhky päätti rakentaa pesän suoraan ikkunamme edessä

olevaan mäntyyn, johon on suora näköyhteys veljeni huoneesta.

Eipä tarvitse mitään pesäkameroita nähdäkseen kyyhkyjen perhe-elämää ^^
Välillä tiirailessa pesään, tuntuu kyllä vähän kuin olisi mikäkin kerrostalokyttääjänaapuri :')
Poikanen kuoriutui viime sunnuntaina, mutta en ole ennättänyt saamaan siitä hyvää kuvaa,
sillä emo kääntyy auringon mukaan pesässä eli iltapäivisin, milloin olisi aikaa kuvata, emo on
pyrstö kohti ikkunaa -_-; Mutta yritän viikonloppuna sitten...

It's nice to live in a block of flats, because you have a chance to see straight to the bird nest!
The wood pigeon couple decided to make a nest in a pine tree, which is directly in front of my brother's room window. The chick hatched last Sunday, but I haven't managed to get a good
picture of it yet, because the mama bird's tail is always facing the window afternoons
and in the morning I don't have time to bird spotting :') But I'll try this weekend...
