Matkaan lähdettiin pikkuveljeni kaverin autolla ja koukkasimme
Auto oli oikea pelastus niillä jäätävillä keleillä! Ei tarvinnut
kylmettyä hotellin ja Sibeliustalon tai juna-aseman väliä!

Desucon Frostbite was held last weekend, 16-17.1.
We went there by car which was a real lifesaver (we picked up Safir and
been a real pain to walk between the hotel, train station and Sibelius Hall.
Ensimmäiseksi suuntasimme nukkemiittiin:

menimme seuraamaan Makoto Shinkaista kertovaa luentoa:

Because the lecture "Amen - Church in anime" was full,
we went to listening to the lecture about Makoto Shinkai:
Kaikissa Shinkain teoksissa on upeaa taustataidetta, mutta myös
tarinallisesti hyvä leffa on Garden of Words. Sitä suosittelen kyllä lämmöllä.

The background art is always amazing in Shinkai's movies, but
Garden of Words has also a good story. I recommend that movie!

Ennen iltabileitä käytiin kuuntelemassa kaksi luentoa:
Ranobe animessa, animeako ranobessa ja Pappapaneeli. Ranobe-luento oli
mielenkiintoinen, mutta valitettavasti Pappapaneeli oli liian ihkutus-painotteinen...

Kymmenen jälkeen lähdimme iltabileisiin, jossa piti
käydä vain kääntymässä, koska kaikkia väsytti...

Illan naurut tarjosi tämä "narikka" eli about seitsemän pystynaulakkoa vuorattuna monien kymmenien ihmisten takeilla :'DD Yläkerrassa olisi ollut kyllä sitten maksullinenkin narikka...
Mutta voi taivas tuota sekamelskaa!

Aluksi tila näytti hyvin ahdistavalta: oli täpötäyttä ja kuuma. Ei kyllä nähty yhtään mitään lavalla olleesta tanssiesityksestä. Sitten kun alkoi dj:iden setit, meno parani. Loppujen lopuksi bileet oli ihan jees, mutta ite olisin halunnut lähteä jo aikaisemmin nukkumaan, mutta miun seuralaiset, jotka eivät edes aluksi halunneet koko bileisiin, halusivat lopulta olla aina sinne pilkkuun asti eli puoli kahteen.
Aamulla oli odotettavissa aika tuskainen herätys... -__-;
