Mökillä lenteli paljon lintuja: / There were lots of birds flying around at our neighborhood:

Töyhtöhyyppiä ujelsi monta paria... / Many pairs of northern lapwings were whistling... 

...ja joutseniakin näkyi vielä. / ...and you could still see swans too.

Pihapiirin linnuista sain sentään vähän lähempää otettua kuvia ^^;

Varpunen selvästi miettii, ettei kyseinen kohde taida olla uudisrakennus...

A sparrow is clearly thinking that this birdhouse ain't a new building...

Sinitintti sirkutti kovaan ääneen, että uusin pönttö on sen reviiriä :)

Eräänä jouluisena iltapäivänä Kuroneko-chan kohtasi Usakkon kaivamassa punaista laatikkoa...

One Christmas afternoon Kuroneko-chan saw Usakko digging a red box...

Kuroneko-chan: "Usakko...?"

Kuroneko-chan: "Mitä teet?"

Kuroneko-chan: "What are you doing?"

Usakko: "Aa, Kuroneko-chan!"

Usakko: "Tämä on enkelikello"
Kuroneko-chan: "Ai, enkelikello...?"

Usakko: "These are angel chimes"
Kuroneko-chan: "Oh, angel chimes...?"

Usakko: "Ajattelin koota sen"

Usakko: "I was thinking to put it together"

Kuroneko-chan lupautui auttamaan Usakkoa ja niin ystävykset
aloittivat pala palalta kokoamaan enkelikelloa.

Kuroneko-chan wanted to help and so these two friends
started to assemble the angel chimes, piece by piece.

Vihdoin enkelikello oli valmis.

Finally, the angel chimes were ready.

Usakko: "Kiitos, kun autoit Kuroneko-chan"
Kuroneko-chan: "Eipä mitään. Se oli hauskaa!"

Usakko: "Thanks for helping me, Kuroneko-chan"
Kuroneko-chan: "Don't mention it. It was fun!"

Kuroneko-chan: "Siitä tuli nätti!"
Usakko: "Niin tuli"

Kuroneko-chan: "It's pretty!"
Usakko: "Yes, it is"

Taas oli pala joulua rakennettu valmiiksi.
Ystävykset jäivät vielä toviksi ihastelemaan tuota enkelikelloa, joka
niin kauniisti kimmelsi illan hämäryyden saapuessa.

Yet again, a piece of Christmas was made complete.
The two friends stayed for a little while and watched those glistening angel chimes.
So beautiful it was while the dusk arrived.

Tämä kyseinen enkelikello on mummini vanha ja siksi hyvin tärkeä minulle. Joka joulu lapsesta lähtien se olin minä, joka sain sen koota. Enkelikellon vakiopaikka oli mummilan olohuoneen pöydällä, mutta nytpä tuota paikkaa ei ole, eikä ole mummiakaan, jäljellä on vaan enkelikello.

These angel chimes used to belong to my grandmother and that's why it's very important to me.
Every Christmas when I was a kid, it was me who put the angel chimes together. It was always on the living room's table, but now, there isn't that place anymore and grandma is neither here anymore. There are only these angel chimes left. 

Tuntuu todella oudolta viettää joulua ilman henkilöä, joka on lapsuudesta asti kuulunut elämääsi.
Pääsiäinen ja Juhannus nyt menivät, mutta joulu nostaa ikävän huippuunsa. Olen aina ollut jouluihmisiä, mutta tänä vuonna en oikein osaa iloita siitä.

It feels very weird to celebrate Christmas when there isn't that one person around anymore. Easter and Midsummer were okay, but Christmas increases the longing. I've always been a Christmas person, but this year, I find it difficult to enjoy it.

In this video, there happens to be exactly the same old angel chimes which I have.
You can hear how it rings. I didn't like it if all the four candles were
burning, because then the noise was too loud >_<
